8/1/2012 Hotfixes for SMG and Assault Rifles in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer

Great news, Modern Warfare 3 has just got updated on all platforms including PS3 Xbox 360 Wii and PC. The new changes where done via a hotfix and do not require a patch updated. These few weapon tweaks where done earlier today through and while you might not notice the changes they have already taken place.

A few of the Assault Rifles and SMG’s have receive some extra love

Check out the update notes below:
Assault Rifles Buffed

FAD – increased damage and range
M16A4 – increased damage and fire rate
AK47 – reduced kick

SMG’s Buffed

UMP45 – increased damage
MP5 – increased fire rate
PM9 – reduced kick

Other good news is Infinity Ward is working hard to make sure Terminal and other PS3 downloads do not have the issues the past downloads had.
