The future of the next generation of gaming is still up in the air so some big future games are saying they want to release for current systems and future systems.
Infinity Wards lead engineer Andrew Aye recently made a few statements in an interview with Kotaku’s Supernnuation, leading us to believe that the future Modern Warfare 4 title will be on both current and next gen systems. He states that he is working on an “unannounced title” which we believe to be MW4 to be released in 2013, many would guess November. The systems that were mentioned where the title will call home include Xbox 360, PS3, PC DX11, and “TBA”. TBA… could that be some type of a Nintendo system, or maybe a new generation of a Sony or Microsoft product.
Aye had also stated that he is “responsible for setting technical direction and design for a new high-end DX11 code base”. Sounds fancy. This makes Super believe that this secret title will “be an entirely different game from the current-generation versions, as was the case for Call of Duty 2.”
