Activision confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released later this year. (half a year away)

Following the early Call of Duty games that were set in World War II and Black Ops which was based in the Cold War and Vietnam, developer Treyarch is now taking the franchise into the future.

The past three Call of Duty games have each become the biggest launches in entertainment history.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 13, 2012.
