How to redeem Xbox LIVE Token Code for COD MW3

Great news for all you Call Of Duty gamers out there right now GameStop is giving out free prestige token for each pre-order of their upcoming Black Ops 2 game. Using this token you can unlock your favorite gun, perk, emblems or even unlock double points to level up faster. This can be done all from the prestige shop. The bad part is most users have no idea how to enter and get this so here are the directions on how to redeem xbox live token that you got from places like Gamestop, Walmart and bestbuy. This should make setup easier post in the comments below with feedback.

How to redeem Xbox LIVE Token Code:
Instructions:
1. Check your receipt for your Token Code. Login to Xbox LIVE® Marketplace
2. Do not lose this code. You will not be able to download the exclusive content without it
3. Log into Xbox LIVE with your gamer profile (active Xbox LIVE account and internet connection required)
4. Access Xbox LIVE Marketplace through the Xbox 360® Dashboard
5. Click Redeem Code
6. Enter your Xbox LIVE Marketplace Token when prompted
NOTE:
1. Canceling the download or turning off your Xbox 360 during the download will permanently void the token
2. If your token doesn’t work, please contact Activision customer support at (310) 255-2050, or www.activision.com/support

you can also login click the xbox button in the middel of your remote go to market place tab then click redeem xbox live token code.

    well, redeem code is suposed to be 25 charictors long the one on my receipt is only 13, so im confused and need a lil help

      redeem code can be 13 25 or even other sets of numbers. just enter it how it says above.

        No that’s how you do it. Your wrong steve and so is this article. It’s a damn shame that it was written without actually trying or you’d realize it doesn’t work like that. They just wrote this so he can get hits on a search engine..hey thats how I found this article. 
        Anyway if you preordered you have to register and link your xbl account at gamestopblackops2.com. After doing so you get to a screen that says something like this. ”Your Prestige Token will be available within the next 24 hours. Visit
        the Prestige Shop in Multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
        to use your Prestige token!”

        That’s all! Have fun with your extra token
