tip of the day for 4-26-12
Today we are starting something BRAND new here at Blog 4 Modern Warfare 3. We are going to go over each and every weapon with in depth guide info that can help you master more weapons and become a better Call Of Duty player. Today we are going to start with the MSR sniper rifle which is for many the go to sniper rifle. We will provide info on what makes it good what makes it bad and how best to use the weapon. We hope you enjoy this info and do not forget to bookmark and come back for other great info. We also provide a lot of other great tips, and many Walkthrough guides.
Modern Warfare 3 offers some really great sniper rifles but here is why in my opinion the MSR is the best of the best when it comes to sniper rifles for modern warfare 3. here is why:
It is highly accurate and carry’s a lot of damage giving 1 shot kills more then any other sniper rifle.
It not only is really effective but it really looks great.
It is perfect for Quick-Scoping and Hard-Scoping!
Like many Call of Duty gamers I really enjoy Quick-Scoping. Like many gamers I also do not like a lot of hit markers. The MSR allows you to get 1 shot kills with out the need for focusing your aim much. So for these reasons and more when it comes to sniper rifles the MSR is by far my all-time favorite weapon to use in MW3. You will see many Youtubers using the MSR for trick-shots, montages and professional editing clips because of its look and how powerful it is.

It has a great look and its by far one of the easiest to learn sniper rifles in the game. Many gamers use it to practice quick-scoping. Plus not only does it look fantastic, it’s one of the easiest Sniper Rifles to use in the game, and the best Sniper Rifle to use when practicing Quick-Scoping. We do have a simple damage chart for all sniper rifles, along with a guide on how to quick scope or no scope.
The MSR offers me the best all around sniping experience from quick scoping to hard scoping. One of the down sides to the MSR is it is the last unlock sniper in the game unlocked at level 67. To many gamers that are lower ranks this can be a major down side limiting if they can use it or not. While those that can use it and have used it a fair amount know its true power.
MSR Suggested Perk:
Setup 1
1. Sleight of Hand = to Reload quicker in case you miss the first shot you can reload and shot again quicker.
2. Quickdraw = Aim down sights quicker.
3. Steady Aim or =Dead Silence if I’m trying to do trick-shots.
Setup 2
1. Recon = to flash and tag them then to run in and try to quick scope or no scope them.
2. Assassin Pro = to be able to remain off radar for close and mid rang battles
3. Dead Silence = for sneaking up onn them and doing trick shots or quick scoping better.
Kick as well as extended magazines works well
These perk setups work really well with the MSR so if you are passed the level 67 mark then go a head and try them out for your self. This is a great sniper to learn how to quick scope or for those of you who already do QS but use the L118A. Well we hope you learned a thing or two and hope this helps you become better kill and win more!
