    I just started playing and I can’t figure out how to add the attachments I have gotten to my weapons. Can anyone help me please?

    When you are just starting off you do not have any attachments because you must earn them. In MW2 you earned attachments by using 1st the gun then each attachment there after to earn a new attachment. on mw3 you have a weapon level and that is how you earn your attachments each attachment is unlocked at a different level. your 1st attachment becomes unlocked and useable at weapon rank 2. a few rounds of playing and you should have red dot unlocked. more info on the gun attachments can be found @be63a20b313d60be63efc26da415123a:disqus  http://www.blog4modernwarfare3.com/category/game-overview/game-modes/multiplayer/weapons/gun-attachments/
