For the first time ever Time Magazine is teaming up with a video game maker to market a new up coming video game called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Time and publisher Activision have made a deal so that Activision can use the magazine’s trademark cover design as promotional posters which will go out to people pre-ordering the game. They also made it built into cod mw3 video game.
This is a marketing deal that helps both sides by helping provide the funds for gamers free posters while helping Time Magazine reach new cowards.
“This is where the boys are,” Kim Kelleher, Time’s publisher, told the New York Times. “This is a great way to connect with millions of people we might not have otherwise connected with.”
